Get Involved

There is a way in for everyone.

Whether you lead a company, want to give back, or are a student ready to work for it, there is a role for you. Choose the path that fits.
For Business Leaders

Open a door. We handle the rest.

The students you would meet are vetted and prepared, your commitment is defined and limited, and a coordinator supports both sides. There is no cost to your company, and you choose the level that fits.

Speak

Speak to students

Share how you got where you are and what you look for in people, virtually or in person at Booker T. Washington High School.

Mentor

Mentor a student

Give an interest-matched student feedback on the business plan they build, so they see how a professional evaluates ideas and sets priorities. Supported throughout.

Host a small group

Host a company visit

Open your office to a small, interest-aligned group of students for a tour and conversation.

Offer an internship

Summer internship

Host a prepared student for an internship in summer 2027.

Judge the competition

For Donors & Sponsors

Fund access where it changes everything.

The program is privately funded so that cost is never a barrier for a student or a company. Additional support extends what is possible, and directs dollars straight to opportunity for young people who have earned it.

Foundations, corporate social responsibility programs, and individual supporters are all welcome. If you would like to understand the impact of a contribution, reach out and we will walk you through it.

For Students & Families

You already have two of the three things it takes.

The first is ability. The second is work ethic. Those are yours. The third is access: knowing people, and having someone in your corner who can open a door. That access often comes down to the environment you grow up in, not talent or effort. ATL Project Launch is here to help you get it.

Our 2026-27 group has already been selected, and this first cohort is open only to Booker T. Washington High School students. We plan to expand to more Atlanta schools in future years. If that's you, you're welcome to reach out and we'll keep your info on file to contact you as new opportunities open.

What you could get from it

  • A professional assessment that helps you understand how you are wired
  • A connection to a real professional in the field you care about
  • Visits inside Atlanta businesses to see what careers actually look like
  • Speakers who share how they got where they are and what they look for in people
  • A shot at an internship or summer work experience
  • A mentor’s feedback as you build a business plan, and a chance to pitch it to business leaders

What this program is not

  • It is not a guarantee of anything. Doors get opened. Walking through them is up to you.
  • It is not for people who want something handed to them. It is for people ready to work for it.
  • It is not a pep talk. It is a real path you can use to grow.

Self-motivation is an entry requirement. If that is you, reach out.
